MTSU Theatre and Dance, Spring 2024, Dir. David Wilkerson
Costume Designer
This was my first professional costuming position! I was hired by MTSU as the lead costume designer on this production directly after graduation in December. David's concept for this show was incredibly cool and it inspired me to create some of my favorite work so far.
MTSU Theatre and Dance, Spring 2023, Dir. Danielle Roos
Student Costume Designer
This was my first time working as the lead costume designer. I adore this show and I learned so much while designing it - among many other important things, this show is where I realized how much I love seeing actors feel confident in the costumes I create for them.
MTSU Theatre and Dance, Fall 2022, Dir. Lauren Shouse
Student Stitcher
I worked in the MTSU costume shop as a stitcher on this show while I was in the cast. I got to do one of my favorite things: sew my own costume pieces.
MTSU Theatre and Dance, Spring 2022, Dir. Tiffany Trent
Student Assistant Costume Designer
I was the assistant designer to our lead costume designer Denese Evans on this production. Denese and I collaborated early in the design process on character concepts, and I designed and built the costumes for Zyclo's Bird and Naja myself.
MTSU Theatre and Dance, Fall 2021, Dir. Kristi Shamburger
Student Stitcher
I worked as a stitcher in the MTSU costume shop while performing in the ensemble of Sweeney. I made a few pieces for this show and I got to wear one of them!
MTSU Theatre and Dance, Fall 2021, Dir. Danielle Roos
Student Stitcher
This was one of the first pieces I made in the MTSU costume shop! I had worked on smaller pieces for previous shows, but Sir George's coat and breeches were the first pieces I made myself from start to finish.
